Cheers! I’m DR. JARED LOUW. I’m originally from South Africa and immigrated to Canada in 1999. I have been a proud Canadian ever since!
I obtained my bachelor degree in biomedical sciences at the University of Guelph, and graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2017. In my spare time I enjoy catching up on TV shows
and movies, spending time with my three cats, studying martial arts, and if weather permitting spending time outdoors. I love animals in all forms but my main veterinary focus is dogs and
cats, with some extra experience with exotics/pocket pets, wildlife, and poultry.

I also enjoy riding my horse Ralley, walking our dogs Sydney and Darla and watching movies!

technician has allowed me to do a job I love and could not imagine doing anything else. I live in St. Thomas with my black cat Bogie, but still find time to go home to my parents to see
my dog Knight, a male dutch shepherd. When not at work I enjoy spending time with friends and family watching movies and going to London Knights Hockey Games.
Hi, my name is BRITTANY THIBODEAU. I joined the Beaver Creek Animal Hospital as a coop student in 2013. Upon completion of the coop program I was employed on a
part time basis as a nighttime kennel staff. During that time I witnessed numerous interesting cases of animals requiring after hour care. In the fall of 2016 I switched to full time
employment as a veterinary assistant. I love animals, I love my job and I couldn’t imagine anything better than working with my favorite thing in the world! I love spending my spare time with
my four legged children; my wrinkly Sharpei mix Rocky Rue and my two fur kitties Gracie and Tigger.

THE CLINIC PETS
VITO came to Beaver Creek Animal Hospital from the St. Thomas city pound because he was having difficulties breathing. After doing X-rays, we found he had a diaphragmatic hernia (meaning his abdominal organs were in his chest). Vito is a strong kitty who pulled through major surgery and continues to do well each day, even though he now only has one working lung! During his long recovery the staff fell in love with him! He spends his days lying in his cat bed, playing with toys or keeping an eye on all of us making sure we are doing a good job.
